Ashish Deora is a first-generation entrepreneur, investor, and the Founder of Aurum
Ventures. Since founding the company in 1996, he has built Aurum with a long-term
vision rooted in innovation, disciplined execution, and institutional capability-building.
Over the past three decades, Ashish has founded, scaled, invested in, and exited
businesses across real estate, mining, telecom, aviation, renewable energy, and
technology. His career reflects a consistent ability to identify emerging opportunities,
manage risk, and create value across market cycles.
A firm believer in technology and entrepreneurship, Ashish has played a key role in
shaping Aurum’s evolution into a future-facing real estate and PropTech platform. He
believes India’s next decade will be defined by entrepreneurs who combine ambition with
execution, data, and innovation.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Ashish applies the principles of the Case
Method, structured decision-making, and continuous leadership development within
Aurum’s culture. With a proven track record of investments across APAC, Africa, and
South America, including successful exits to global capital allocators, he brings a global
perspective to Indian enterprise-building.
